My motivation to learn swimming is to enjoy recreational activities because my family and I always and loves having an outing especially during summer. Actually our favorite recreational activity is swimming thats why we make sure whenever we have an outing theres a place for us to swim like pool or beach. But i am still afraid to swim on a beach so seeing my family enjoying the beach motivates me to learn even more about swimming.

I have three things in my mind that would help me get motivated in swimming. First of is the career preparation, as a Tourism student, who wishes to become either a stewardess or a part of the staff in a cruise line, having knowledge in swimming is a MUST in the job that we would wish to apply. Second is for our survival and safety, we will never know when we'll need it (swimming) but we always have to be prepared. And last but not the least is to help me overcome my fear in water, having a bad experience in the pool during my childhood, this might help me overcome my fear little by little.

My motivation is for me to learn a new skill and to enjoy recreational activities. Learning a new skill is like gaining a strength, swimming may be difficult but as what they say, you can't earn something without making an effort. and also to enjoy recreational activities, since swimming is our way to bond with our relatives. and in case of emergency, maybe I can save life. This subject will surely be useful.

I have 3 motivations that makes me want to learn how to swim. First of all is that swimming improves the lungs of the body. whenever i swim, i had a hard time breathing underwater because i do not know how to manage my air or to breath properly. I hope that i can learn the proper breathing techniques to breath. Second Swimming helps improve the body because it is a work out. Swimming is very hard to do since it is a work out to swim because i need to give effort in moving my body in the water. third and finally because i know my instructor can really teach me a lot in swimming so i am confident in him.

I would simply say that swimming might be my new hobby since I've been engaged with outdoor activities that I really wanted to try but really lacked time to do so. Meaning I enjoy swimming for a short period of time. But since there's a class that conducts training about swimming, I'm not just learning but also enjoying as well. This will help me gain good experience and strengthen my physical ability as well as mental ability. In case of any unexpected events I will be always ready to expect the danger and would also save lives as well.

Swimming may not be my first choice in sports but I have many reason why i want to learn or why I want to engage in this sport. Since I was a kid I do really love to swim, my parents thought me how because they love going to different kinds or resorts and beaches that’s why I learned ro swim at a very young age. Here are my reflection on the personal motivations that is listed below:
1. For fitness- yes, this is my first reason why I engage in swimming, for fitness. I’m a fitness concious person because I’m an athlete and for me my body shape and weight is important. And also swimming recruits all the major muscle groups, including the shoulders, back, abdominals, legs, hips, and glutes. And for me an athlete we use water to rehabilitate after injury or to cross-train.
2. To learn a new skill- I want to learn new skills and I want also to improve my learnings in swimming, even though I already have an experience in swimming lesson wayback in high school I know there are still more skills or lessons that I have to learn and improve to myself.
3. For career preparation- swimming is really important in my chosen field of endeavor. Beacause as a tourism student, I know this can help me in my future job. I really need to learn here because this is for the safety of others.
4. I feel that its a need to learn swimming- it is really a need to learn swimming because it can really help us in emergencies and dangers. Because we don’t know what might happen anytime, anywhere.
5. To enjoy recreation activities- I love joining in different kind of activites, and activities that are realated in swimming or water is my most favorite like snorkeling, kayaking, diving, and etc.
6. To engage in other aquatic sports- I want to engage in aquatic sports, but I never try one but if theres an opportunity I will surely grab it.
7. For safety and survival- my answer is also the same in number 4.
8. To face my fear in the water- I don’t have any fear in water, but I just wanna know hoe can I make myself float in the deeper part of the water in beaches or pools.

Seriously, I hate this swimming class. because i have trauma in pools or beaches thats why im not really interested to this class. But for my course this is required so i really dont have a choice to take this. I cant perform well coz i really dont know how to do it. So Some of the swimmers varsity in LC teach me and im improving. Sorry for my professor coz im a slow learner when it becomes to swimming. So my motivation is i need to learn how to swim to face my fears. and to learn this as my new skills.

I came from a family of swimmers but never found delight in swimming. I love doing extreme stuffs but prefer those done on land. But then I thought, what if I was accidentally thrown into a deep ocean or pool? Of course I won't survive, and I hate depending on other people just to keep me safe. That's why I felt the need to swim, for safety and survival and to learn a new skill. I mean, doesn't it feel good to know that you could be the star of pool parties? Lastly, I am not that contented with the slim body that I have. I want a muscle-toned body. :)

My motivation to learn swimming 1st is to save lives 2nd it can be used in emergency. It also important to learn swimming beacause swim is to acquire the ability to survive in water. At one time or another, you are bound to find yourself in or near water, whether you're on a cruise, boating trip, fishing or lounging by a pool with friends. If the water is deeper than your height, and you find yourself in it, knowing how to swim could save your life.
